Valentino designs one of a kind couture gown for amfAR`s

This year Valentino’s creative directors, Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli, designed a one of a kind couture gown for amfAR’s “The Ultimate Gold Collection Fashion Show,” part of the 2013 Cinema Against Aids event in Cannes.

Forty top models participated in a spectacular runway presentation of one-of-a-kind gold looks with gold jewelry, all to help raise funds for amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research.

Carine Roitfeld’s daughter, Julia Roitfeld modeled the unique gown at the fashion show and the Valentino gown along with all other items auctioned on the night raised a grand total of $25 million. Valentino is very proud to support amfAR’s continuing fight against HIV/AIDS.
